LOUISE MORGAN | ARTIST ARCHIVE 2012-2019

10 July 2018

TERRAFORMED • 220 Creative Space Gallery

19 - 29 July 2018   •   TERRAFORMED   •220 Creative Space Gallery, Sydney

It's with great anticipation that I will be having very first solo exhibition at 220 Creative Space Gallery, curated by Tania Browitt. On show will be my major body of work from the past 18 months, developed during the end of my postgraduate studies at the National Art School. These works explore the phenomena of the Anthropocene; in particular how humankind has become a geological force, challenging the notion of nature as separate or parallel to our species experience and impact.

Please join me for opening drinks on Thursday 19 July 2018, 6-8pm.

UPDATE:
  • There's a little review of the show in issue #23 of ARC UNSW Art + Design's Framework publication by Alexandra Mitchell - check it out ⟶ 'Terraformed' by Louise Morgan - Environmental Activism in Disguise.
  • Thank you to all who came along to the opening event and a special thank you to Carolyn McKenzie-Craig for her eloquent introduction of my work to crowd on the night and Tania Browitt and 220 Creative Space staff for running such a wonderful night and being such a pleasure to work with.

(Also, be sure to check out my previous post below on the 'Crossing Borders' fundraising auction in which I have donated a work).
